Internship Program

The School of Art Print Studio operates a thriving internship program each semester. The studio provides a wide range of printing and processing services at a state-of-the-art facility on George Mason University's Fairfax campus.

We offer internships for friendly, talented, and hardworking individuals to assist in our day-to-day operations, as well as in specialized areas. Applicants should have interest in a related field such as photography, graphic design, or digital art. Interns will gain extensive knowledge concerning fine art printers and processing techniques, as well as develop skills in customer service.

General responsibilities include preparing files to print (preflight and graphics), print production, and creative design services. Internships start at the beginning of each Summer, Fall, and Spring semester, and may fulfill up to 3 university course credits. To apply, submit a completed Internship Application to our office, or email to soaprint@gmu.edu.
